I visited for 11 days for a rest, detox and minor tune-up after a very stressful period in my life. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! There are many “beach paradises” in the world and Cherai beach can compete with the best of them, it’s relatively untouched and peaceful, not that crowded, and the resort faces both the quiet backwaters and is across the stress from the seemingly-endless beach, perfect for sunset or sunrise walks. What makes this experience so special is the people, the staff at the resort. Kerala is known for its hospitality, welcoming and tolerant atmosphere, and the kindness of the people. Every last individual that works at Sukhayus, from the kitchen staff to the doctors and treatment attendants to the gardener is so kind-hearted and genuine. The experience is holistic in the true meaning of the word, from the nutrition and care taken in preparing the food, the tone of the interactions during and after the treatments, and the attention and diligence of the doctors. For me, the results speak for themselves, and I plan to return at least once a year. Highly recommended for those looking to treat a medical oasis in a health-giving and rejuvenating environment, to those just looking to truly disconnect, relax and de-stress.

My stay was mesmerizing. The location is beautiful and the property very good. The staff is super attentive and always taking care of the guest. Ayurveda doctors and treatments are out of this world. It was a blessing to be at Sukhayus and re-set my body with all the pamparing treatments and relax in this little paradise.

We stayed there on our last day in India but the visit was amazing. The staff was extremely caring and friendly. And I had the best massage I have ever had! I highly recommend to book one as I tried a massage in the different hotel in India and I cannot even compare the two.

Nice staff Good doctors and Tasty food. Excellent service attitude 👌 This property is on neat and clean backwater, you can visit beach across the road if you would like. Beach too quite and calm during morning hours. Good place for morning walks.
